Thank you for your interest in our GWPs. The litter  was born December 24, 2007- 4 boys and 4 girls.

The pedigree includes DC/AFC/NFC CASCADE ROGUE MH NAVHDA UT III on both sides of the pedigree.  Ch Shurcan Laurwyn's Bacon Burger, Ch Larkspur's Cruisin' Classic JH, Dual Champion Cascade Ike, Master Hunter, Ch Darling's Tick Tock, Master Hunter, CH Cascade Cate , Master Hunter, which all go back to the original Schnellberg and old Haar Baron bloodlines. The Champion sire-”WillHe” , an excellent hunting dog, lives in Oregon and is descended from multiple generations of our breeding program. You may want to check out our web pages at :

Both parents are great hunters and natural retrievers.  This pedigree will give us the best of the old hunting lines with their health, easy temperament, and longevity.  The hunting and retrieving ability is in the genetics.  If you decide to show and/or pursue hunting titles, this is the pedigree.  Our aim is to produce the best of the "do it all" dogs.

The temperament of this litter will be great.  Trainable and sensible without the "sharpness" that affects so many GWP's. These puppies, as with their parents, will be focused and eager to please, quick to learn, and long to retain the lessons.  Much will depend on you the trainer, but the raw material is there for you to mold this puppy into the dog you desire.

Showing, if you want to try it, can be as difficult or as easy as your wallet and skills allow. Contact you local kennel club about show handling classes.  http://www.akc.org/index.cfm?nav_area=homepage

NAVHDA is active here in MI and chapters across the USA, and is a great test of natural ability. http://www.navhda.org/

Hunt Test titles are achievable by the average owner with minimal experience. http://www.akc.org/events/hunting_tests/pointing_breeds/index.cfm

Field trials can be more difficult but there are plenty of good folks to help you achieve that goal if you wish.  http://www.akc.org/events/field_trials/pointing_breeds/index.cfm

We do encourage attending obedience class with your dog.

The parents (including grandparents, great grandparents and great-great grandparents according to availability of genetic testing) meet criteria for hips, elbows, cardiac, thyroid, eyes, and temperament.  Most of the ancestors lived to be well into their teens.

This litter has some pups that are predominately snow white, and some pups that are predominantly grey, all with liver heads, ears, and patches or ticking.,.The liver pigment is very dark with very dark eyes.

I will e-mail photos of the puppies during their first 8 weeks.  They will be ready for their new homes around mid February.  They will be temperament tested and the results for the puppy will be made available to you.

With over 25 years of experience with GWP's we strive to match the best puppy with the circumstances of the prospective owner.  We want our puppies to succeed in their new homes and the new owner to be satisfied.  There are no "show" or "pets" in our litters.  All puppies are the same price and raised to be great hunting companions first, the showing and titles are icing on the cake.

We ask for a returnable deposit of $200.00 to reserve your puppy.  Our puppies are in high demand and you would be wise to contact us early. You need to let us know if you prefer a male or female.  If you are interested in breeding we will ask for additional information about you and there will be a contract outlining our breeding policies which include genetic testing for your dog prior to breeding.

We provide a written guarantee, an extensive puppy owner's manual, AKC registration, veterinary record, food, toys, collar, leash, housebreaking instructions, microchipping, and will always be a phone call away.  You need to provide a crate, exercise pen, http://www.petedge.com/  (for wholesale prices), bedding, dishes, newspapers, the training and the loving home.
